SHELTER HOUSE.
In only one instance was the Shelter House occupied by a family (five in
number) in whose home there was an infectious disease. It was, however,
utilized for bathing 14 verminous persons and for the disinfection of 13 midwives
who had been in attendance on cases of Puerperal Fever.
