These facts are now too well known to need repetition, but nevertheless
they are far more than sufficient to justify the Metropolitan Medical Officers
of Health in preferring to have the milk supply of London under their own
supervision rather than that of incompetent Rural Sanitary Authorities,
who either wilfully, or through negligence, do not enforce the Order, or the
Regulations made thereunder, relating to Dairies, Cowsheds and Milkshops.
