HOUSES LET IN LODGINGS.
At the end of the year £91 houses were on the Register, which is an
increase of 142 on the number of the preceding year.
For the purpose of inspecting these houses, two Inspectors, Messrs. Jordan
and Bridel, are employed, and they during the 12 months made 1,927
inspections and 9,979 subsequent calls, so that the total number of visits
amounted to 11,906, or 2,717 more than in 1904.
