To the Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the Metropolitan
Borough of Hampstead.
Mh. Mayor, Madam, and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to place before you my Annual Report
for the year 1909.
The facts and figures in the report show that the high standard
Hampstead has established in health matters was well maintained in
1909. In certain directions, however, there is still much need for
further developments of our public health work on the lines I have
endeavoured to indicate in the report.
I am glad to acknowledge the excellent work of the Staff of the
Public Health Department throughout the year. To the Chairman and
the Members of the Public Health Committee my thanks are also due
for their continued support.
