FOOD SUPPLY.
Milk.
Additional powers relating to the sale of milk have been
conferred upon metropolitan sanitary authorities by the London
County Council (General Powers) Act, 1908. Section V. provides
that any Sanitary Authority may remove from or refuse to
enter on the register the names of dairymen or purveyors of
milk whose premises are, in the opinion of such Sanitary Authority,
for any reason, unsuitable for the sale of milk thereon, provided
that premises shall not be deemed unsuitable for the sale
of milk therein on any ground inconsistent with the provisions
