Similar conclusions are to be drawn from a comparison of the
death rates from the chief zymotic diseases in the different Wards
of the Borough, as shown in the table on page 45, from which
it will be seen that of the nine Wards, Church Ward shows the
highest and St. John Ward the lowest zymotic death rates.

It will further be noted that, in the case of only one disease—i.e., scarlet fever— will the figure be found to be higher than the average for the decennium.
