unnecessarily prolong a report meant to be confined to a description
of the measures at present carried out by the various Sanitary
Authorities of the United Kingdom, I have intentionally omitted
them.
The Local Government Board have just published an Order
making the disease compulsorily notifiable (within 48 hours of
the disease being diagnosed) in Poor Law Institutions, etc., etc.
