In connection with the paving of yards, etc., in the Borough
of Battersea, the Medical Officer of Health reported to the Health
Committee, and the Committee gave instructions for notices re
paving of yards to be referred to the Solicitor for enforcement
if thought advisable by him, and not to be allowed to lapse as
had hitherto been the case; the Medical Officer's report was as
follows:—
". . . . The question of the paving of yards and forecourts
is a very important one, which has been engaging my
attention for some time, and I find that there are at present
a large number of notices in different parts of the Borough not
