The Tables on pages 237 to 240 have been drawn up by
the Home Secretary "for the guidance of Medical Officers
of Health in preparing that part of their Annual Report which
relates to factories, workshops, workplaces and homework."
They are intended to provide for uniformity in the presentation
of such particulars as lend themselves to statistical treatment.
