The prevalence of infectious disease in certain parts of
the Borough (in common with the rest of London) during 1907
took up a good deal of the time of the Inspectors. Notwithstanding
this, however, the fact that about 1,000 more
inspections over the average 1900-1906 must be considered a
highly satisfactory record.
