TUBERCULOSIS.
The number of deaths from Tuberculosis in 1906 was 79. Of
these, 57 deaths were due to pulmonary tuberculosis or phthisis, 9 to
tubercular meningitis, 4 to intestinal tuberculosis, and 9 to other
forms of the disease.

The following table shows the number of deaths and the death-rates from tuberculosis, and from phthisis respectively since 1899.
