INSPECTION OF FOOD.

This duty, which mainly devolves on the Inspector of Food, Mr. H. Wilkinson, was well carried out during the year, and resulted in the destruction of 5 tons, 8 cwts. 3 qrs. 17 lbs. of food stuffs.
