WORK DONE AT THE DISINFECTING STATION.
There were 2 7,868 large articles disinfected in the steam chambers at
Seven Sisters Road, compared with 23,748 that were treated in 1903. The
present return brings up the total number of large articles disinfected to
261,924. No record has ever been kept of the enormous number of small
articles, such as handkerchiefs, stockings, towels, etc., that are disinfected, as
they are generally placed loosely in bags and disinfected together as one lot.
If it had, the number of different articles would have run probably into
millions.

following table.
