staircase for the better lighting of the landing at an estimated
cost of £10. New treads (Doulton's) have been ordered for the
Hercules Convenience (males) at an estimated cost of £10 ; and
at Vauxhall Park an extra light has been fixed over gateway in
boundary wall in South Lambeth Walk (estimated cost £8).
LAMBETH ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS.
The transfer of the powers under the Education Acts to the
London County Council (acting for the whole of London) has
drawn attention to the Schools of Lambeth during 1904. These
various Schools may be grouped as follows:—
