average for nine years.

Puerperal Fever.
It is, indeed, a pleasing fact to be able to record that the mortality iron
this disease was 50 per cent. below the average of the nine years preceding. Only
6 deaths were reported, as against an average of 12.
The return is also the lowest that has been known in these years.
