NOTIFIABLE INFECTIOUS DISEASES REMOVED TO
HOSPITALS FOR TREATMENT, MAINLY TO THE
METROPOLITAN ASYLUMS BOARD'S HOSPITALS.
Out of a total of 2,276 cases known to have been isolated In hospitals,
2,089, or 91.3 per cent., were receIved Into the Metropolitan Asylum Board's
Hospitals, and of these 168 died.
One thousand one hundred and thirty-four were received into the North
Eastern Hospital, of whom 54 died; 355 In the North Western Hospital, of
whom 22 died; 323 Into the Eastern Hospital, of whom 42 dIed; 7 into the
Western, of whom 0 died; 4 into the South Western Hospital, of whom o
died; and 2 into the North Eastern, of whom i died. 264 were received into
the Small Pox hospitals and ships, of whom 48 died.
