6. Inquests.— The cause of death in 13 cases, including 6 from
violence, was returned by coroners. The cause of death in 4 of these
cases is stated to have been ascertained by post-mortem examination,
Inquests were held on the bodies of 3 non-parishioners.
7.—Tabular Statements.- By direction of the Public Health
Committee, the customary statement of the principal items of the work
of the Sanitary Inspectors, and the statement of the work of the Lady
Inspectors of Workshops, etc., where women are employed, for the
four weeks ended November 7th, are appended to this report (vide
pages 184 and 185).
