From the Report of the Census 1901, the area of the Holborn Borough is 405.l acres,
the number of inhabited houses 4,703, and the population was 59,405, 29,489 males and
29,916 females.
Details for the different parts of the Borough, and details of the changes in the population
due to the changes in the boundaries under the London Government Act were given in the
Annual Report for the year 1901.
