It is thus seen that the incidence of the disease was greatest in the Holborn Borough,
having been 7.38 per 1,000 of estimated population, and least in Hampstead, where it was only
031. The maximum number of cases, 1,549, was in Stepney, and the minimum, 27, in
Hampstead.
