DEATH RATE.
We show a mortality for the year 1904 of 18.55.
This is 0.5 per thousand below the rate of the previous
year, but our usual relation to the general Metropolitan
rate is not quite maintained, for this also has decreased,
and is one per thousand below that of the previous year.
The death rate for the whole of London was 15.1 as
against 16.1 for 1904.
MORTALITY RATES IN SUB-DISTRICTS.
In the following table is shewn the corrected mortality
rate in each of the three Registration Sub-Districts.
