Thus it will be seen 609 samples were procured for analysis
79 of which proved to be adulterated, 60 convictions being
obtained.
In the cases of butter, milk and sausages, a discrepancy will
be noticed between the number of summonses issued and
convictions obtained. The following are the reasons for such
discrepancy.
