On the 17th November, the Council, on the recommendation of the
Public Health Committee, resolved that the Loudon County Council be
informed that they generally approve of the resolutions adopted.
Staff of the Public Health Department.
No change has taken place in the personnel of the Department
during the year.
Temporary Offices.
The lack of adequate accommodation for the Council's Staff at the
Town Hall having been under consideration for some time, it was decided
to transfer the Public Health and Borough Accountant's Departments
to No. 7, Belsize Park Gardens.
This removal took place on the 4th November.
Dangerous Structures.
During the year I reported to the Superintending Architect of the
London County Council, or to the District Surveyor, 25 cases, in which
dangerous structures, contraventions of the London Building Act, &v.,
have come under my notice.
Public Mortuary.
During the year the bodies of 82 persons were brought to the
Mortuary as against 74 last year—51 by order of the Coroner, 20 by
the Police, 10 at the request of friends of the deceased persons, and 1
