In Table VIII page 101 the death rates of Hampstead may be
compared with those of England and Wales since 1875.
The following table, which is issued by the Registrar General,
shews the death rate for Hampstead as compared with the County of
London, the City of London, and the other Metropolitan Boroughs.
It will be noted that the death rate for Hampstead is lower than that
for any other district within the County :—
