confinement within this ward, 87 living in other wards of the
Borough, and 58 in other districts. Corrected for these the

Borough 29.9.
Illegitimacy.
The illegitimate births numbered 262 —140 males and 122
females —or 5.5 per cent. of the total births, as against 3.7 per
cent. in the County of London.
Still-born Children.
150 still-born children were buried in Fulham Cemetery,
being in the proportion of one still-born child to every 32
living.
