Report on the sanitary condition of the Hackney District for the year 1904

June, 1904. During the half year there were 3,081 births registered
in the Borough. Of these 347 died during the half year, and of the
remainder 1,762 were successfully vaccinated, which amounts to over
64 per cent. This is an improvement upon the vaccination in previous
years.
During the half year 89 certificates of conscientious objection were
received by the vaccination officer in respect of children born during
the half year under consideration.
