The case-rate in the sub-districts in 1904 was as follows:—
East Battersea, 0 78; North-West Battersea, 159; SouthWest
Battersea, 1.19.
In the County of London the case-rate was 1.55, the
death-rate 0.15, and the case-mortality10.10 per cent.
The number of cases removed to hospital was 155, or 77.8
per cent. of the total number of cases notified. In 1903 the
percentage of cases removed to hospital was 81.9, and in 1902
73.4. The percentage of cases removed in the sub-districts was
as follows:— East Battersea, 84.4; North-West Battersea,
