6. Persons attending upon the sick person should wear a washable
overall in the sick room, changing the same and washing their
hands and face before leaving the sick room and associating with
others.
7. No child should attend school or any similar institution from
a family where a member suffering from typhoid fever is nursed at
home, until the patient has completely recovered and the home, &c.,
has been satisfactorily disinfected.
8. After recovery or death, the room, bedding, clothes, &c., used
by the patient should be well disinfected before being used again,
and this will be done free of charge on application to the Public
Health Department, either by the medical attendant or person in
charge of a case of typhoid or enteric fever.
