Under the heading of "Enteritis" are included those
certified as from Gastro-enteritis, Muco-enteritis, and
Gastric catarrh. Under the headings of "Cancer,"
"Phthisis" and "Puerperal fever" are included all
registered deaths from causes comprised within these
general terms.
Deaths from diarrhœa secondary to some other well-defined
disease are included under the latter.
