Continued Fever.—There were nine cases of this disease in
Hackney and one death.
Erysipelas.—There were 250 cases of Erysipelas in Hackney,
and 11 in Stoke Newington. Of the former 12 died, but no deaths
occurred amongst the latter. The mortality in Hackney equalled
05 per 1,000 living persons. Amongst the institutions, the Hackney
Union Infirmary supplied 18 cases with one death.
