BYE-LAWS.
Made by the Board of Works for the Hackney District, being the
Sanitary Authority for the said District, for the
PREVENTION OF NUISANCES.
interpretation of terms.
1. Throughout these bye-laws the expression "the Sanitary
Authority" means the Roard of Works for the Hackney District.
For the Prevention of Nuisances arising from any Snow,
Ice, Salt, Dust, Asiies, Rubbish, Offal, Carrion, Fish, or
Filth, or other Matter or Thing in any Street.

2. The occupier of any premises fronting, adjoining, or abutting
on any street not repairable by the inhabitants at large shall, as soon
as conveniently may be after the cessation of any fall of snow, remove
