Report on the sanitary condition of the Hackney District for the year 1892

to over 6,000 houses, or about 46,000 inhabitants, i.e., if the whole
of London—excluding Hackney—be taken as a standard, Hackney
has not half its proper staff of Sanitary Inspectors. The number of
Inspectors appointed at Hackney should be eleven to reach the
above-mentioned standard.

But the members of the Board of Works will be able to draw their own conclusions from a study of the table.
