Marriages There have been 602 marriages registered during the
year; in the first quarter 118, in the second 133, in the third 146, and
in the fourth 205.
Inquests and Suicides. There have been 72 inquests during the year. There
have been 3 Suicides as follows:—Hanging 1, Drowning
1, and Suicide on Railway 1.
Mortuary. Fifty-two bodies were received into the Mortuary, of
which 32 were of persons resident in the district, and 20 non-resident.
Of these 316 cases, l75 were removed to Hospital, as follows:—
