THE SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACTS.
The total number of Articles of Food submitted to the Public
Analyst for analysis during the year 1894 was 120, viz., Milk, 63;
Flour, 16; Bread, 16; Oatmeal, 13; Sugar, 7; Butter, 4; and Sago, 1.
Seventeen samples of Milk and three samples of Oatmeal were certified
as adulterated.
The following are the particulars:—
