In addition to the above, the Inspectors have had destroyed as unfit for human food during the year the following article.
viz : -99 bushels of apples, 101 barrels of pears, 74 bushels of plums, 18 bushels of apples, 45 boxes of grapes, 5 bushels
gooseberries, 4 bushels of cherries, 52 melons, 57 barrels of pine apples, 19 bags of onions, 31 bags of chestnuts, 7 sacks
turnips, 48 sacks of turnip tops, 300 boxes of chocolate creams, 16 cases of hares, 1 case of eggs, 1 ton 9 cwt. of whiting,
3 cwt. of haddocks, 1 cwt. of bream, and 2 boxes of kippered herrings.
