*It would appear that the Tower of London, as an extra-parochial place, was incorporated for parochial purposes by the operation of the Act 31 and 32 Vict., c. 122, s. 27, with the next adjoining parish with which it had the largest common boundary; the Local Government Board, however, is advised that doubt exists as to the parish which answers to this description, and in the above Table, therefore, the Tower of Loudon is shewn separately.
