And 10, Vandon-street —
The insanitary condition of this house having been reported to
the Committee on the 19th of September; in accordance with
their instructions, I, in conjunction with the Surveyor, reported
on the 20th of that month the desirability of closing it under the
provisions of the Act, and as a result a Magistrate's order was
formally obtained on the 20th November, but the house had
been voluntarily closed then for a month.
The following is a summary of the Inspector's work done during the year:—
