1894, as well as for the 10 preceding years.

The true mortality of the district can only be ascertained, if the
deaths of parishioners in out-lying institutions be added, thus
necessitating another correction.
The following Table shows the deaths from all causes, from
zymotic diseases, and from other diseases which occurred in these
out-lying institutions.
The total number of such deaths was 175, fourteen more than
occurred in 1893. 112 of these occurred in the Union Infirmary,50
in general and special Hospitals, and 13 in the Hospitals of the
Metropolitan Asylums Board.
