Table II. gives a tabular statement of the deaths which
occurred in outlying institutions. Of the 16 deaths
recorded, 6 were of males and 10 of females. Five deaths
were due to Zymotic Diseases.
In the Wandsworth and Clapham Union Infirmary
7 deaths occurred; 4 in the hospitals of the Metropolitan
Asylums Board, and 5 in general and special Hospitals
of the Metropolis.
In three cases inquests were held, with the following
verdicts:—
Violence.—Suicide—fall.
Natural— Heart disease.
Blight's disease.
