ON THE
HEALTH AND SANITARY CONDITION OF THE
ENTIRE DISTRICT, 1891.
VITAL STATISTICS.
Population. The population, estimated in the usual way
to the middle of 1894, was 175,473, being an increase of
6,474 on the preceding year.
Births. The total number registered during the year
was 4,418, of which 2,226 were males and 2,192 females.
They were distributed in the sub-districts as follows:—
