rectified by an amending Act.

a member. Sex or marriage does not disqualify for
membership. "Parochial electors " are those who are on
such portion of either the Local Government register or
the Parliamentary register of electors as relates to the
parish. The election of Vestrymen will in future be
by ballot. The mode of election of Members of District
Boards is not interfered with. District Boards and
Vestries in Schedule A are to elect a Chairman for
the year, who is to be, by virtue of his office, a Justice
of the Peace for the County. At the first meeting
of this Board after the election of members in June
Mr. Benjamin Weir, who had for many years been
elected Chairman at each meeting of the Board, was
unanimously elected Chairman for the year.
