Social Position. The next Table shows the percentage of deaths to
total deaths which occurred in the relative social position which
the deceased occupied.
It will be seen that the percentage of total deaths in 1893 does
not vary much from the average of the preceding ten years, but
that the percentage from zymotic diseases shows a diminution
among the industrial and labouring classes.
