Social Position.—The proportion of deaths occurring in
the different social grades may be expressed as follows:—
Nobility and gentry .4 per cent.
Professional classes 8.6 ,,
Middle and trading classes 33.9 „
Industrial and labouring classes 57.1 „
Zymotic Mortality.—The following Table gives the
number of deaths from the different Zymotic Diseases
during the last ten years, with the Zymotic and general
death-rates.
