In a further communication, dated the 25th August last,
the same Board has given directions "if cholera appear in
an epidemic form in London," that ambulances will be
placed in the folio ving stations for the use of patients in
this District.

4.—Nursing.
The National Nursing Association of 23, Bloomsbury
Square has kindly placed at my disposal 5 or 6 nurses in the
event of their services being required.
5.—Medical Attendance.
I have not at the present time made any arrangements
for medical visitors or attendants, but I think that the
District should be divided into at least four areas in the
first instance viz., north, south, east, and west, and I suggest
that the following Medical Practitioners in the District
should be asked if they would be willing to attend cholera
patients, and if so, on what terms ?
(Here follows the names of 10 Medical Practitioners, many
others can be added to the list, if their services should be
required).
6.—Supply of Medicines.
Messrs. Carr & Co., 171, High Holborn, W.C., Mr. J. K.
Matterson, 108, New Oxford Street, W.C., and Mr. G. S.
