COFFEE.
20 specimens of coffee were submitted for analysis. Of
these 3 proved to be adulterated with chicory, one with 25
per cent., one with 30 per cent., and the third with 32 per
cent.
SPIRITS, &c.
The samples of spirits, vinegar aad margarine were all
genuine and no adulteration or poisonous matter was
detected in the samples of sausages, tinned salmon and
beef.
