sewers, and gully-pits.
6. Tuson's Liquid Disinfectant, for the underground convenience
in Shaftesbury Avenue.

Exposure of Infected Person. Sect. 68.
An important prosecution took place in September at the
Bow Street Police Court, where the Defendant was fined 2
guineas, and 5 guineas costs, he, being in charge of a person
suffering from a dangerous infectious disease, exposed such
sufferer contrary to the provisions of this section.
Mortuary. Sect. 88.
A Public Mortuary in Goldsmith Street, Drury Lane, has
been provided in this District since 1883. During the past
year 86 bodies were received there by order of the Coroner,
and at the request of friends of the deceased; 4 were brought
in by the Police.
Inquests were held in 59, and post-mortem examinations
were made in 43 cases.
5 who died from infectious diseases were deposited in the
chamber set apart for that purpose.
6 were non-parishioners, who died outside the District, and
were removed to the Mortuary to meet the convenience of
