An analysis of the occupations of the parents
of the deceased shows that 34 of the children were
the offspring of domestic servants of one kind or
another, 1 each of a charwoman and laundress, 3 of
dressmakers, 4 of women engaged in commerce or
of no occupation, and that in 4 cases there was no
information given as to the status of the parent.
