General Purposes and Lighting Committee—
The duties of this Committee are :—To have entire control over
the lighting of the parish (including electric light), all street
obstructions, scaffolds and hoardings, easements, Vestry Hall and
offices, recreation grounds and trees ; to consider and report upon
all contemplated street improvements, alterations in street nomenclature,
and communications affecting parliamentary or metropolitan
procedure; and generally to deal with all matters not relating to
the work of the other standing Committees
