I find from examinations made from time
to time that the supply from the Artesian
Well in Stoney Lane, sunk by the Commissioners
of Sewers in 1891, maintains the
excellent qualities detailed in my special Reports
upon the subject in 1891-2, and as the output
of the water is far in excess of the local
requirements it seems a pity that its use cannot
be extended.
The following Table represents its general chemical condition:
