SENILE MORTALITY.
At 60 years of age and upwards, there were 784 deaths
(compared with 880, 859, and 671, in the preceding three
years), equal to 28.5 per cent, on total deaths, the equivalent
percentage in London, as a whole, being 24.7.
The Death-Rate per 1,000 persons living at different age-periods, in 1895, and in the preceding three years respectively, was as follows:—
