DEATHS FROM THE PRINCIPAL ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
There were 930 deaths, equal to a death-rate of 2 69 per 1,000.
After making allowance for the great increase of the population
these deaths are 49 above the average of the thirteen years 1885—97,
while the death-rate was 014 per 1,000 above the mean rate.
